Here are six questions that are circling the blogosphere currently. What are your answers???

1. What were three of the stupidest things you have done in your life?

2. At the current moment, who has the most influence in your life?

3. If you were given a time machine that functioned, and you were allowed to only pick up to five people to dine with, who would you pick?

4. If you had three wishes that were not supernatural, what would they be?

5. Someone is visiting your hometown/place where you live at the moment. Name two things you regret your city not having, and two things people should avoid.

6. Name one event that has changed your life.

1. too insecure to awnser. -_-'

2. My neighbors, Mom (by natural default), my father(by constantly setting examples of what NOT to be in life),and my younger brothers (who gave me a purpose in life).

3. Josephine Baker, Frida Kahlo, and Tituba(not in that particular order).

4. I don't have any NON-supernatural wishes,sorry. Though I alway wished I could fly. :-)

5. Well,I regret the fact most of the longest-residing inhabitants of my city are so bleedin' isolated(as if there's an invisible wall holding them in or something),and those people who can't think outside the concept of "city folk " and "County Folk" , UGH! And two things people should avoid are drugs, and like Rene Zelwegger says in "white oleander": "stay away from broken people."

6. The day my mother moved us from our sheltered neighborhood to the more "dog-eat-dog" society I live in now. After that a chain reaction of events followed that made me who I am today, and that's a good thing.

1. What were three of the stupidest things you have done in your life?

Done many a stupid thing...let me see:

(a) At the start of the school year (high school) went to my French class. I was the first one there...chatted w/the teacher...bell rings and still no one is there. Finally I say something, and it turns out my French class wasn't until the next period. SO I am not only feeling stupid, but I also show up late for the class that I was supposed to be in... It may not sound like much, but obviously it must have been a big deal for me to still remember it!

(b) Possibly: Went to Boston U instead of Howard (decided not to even apply). I ended up not even graduating from BU and it was expensive as heck. But, I dunno--This kind of revisionist personal history is hard: I wouldn't be the person I am tody if I had gone to Howard, right? (Or, for that matter, Northwestern, where I was also accepted.)

(c) Not wearing more daring clothes back when I was younger and in better shape!!!

2. At the current moment, who has the most influence in your life?

Easy: my children.

3. If you were given a time machine that functioned, and you were allowed to only pick up to five people to dine with, who would you pick?

...still thinking...

4. If you had three wishes that were not supernatural, what would they be?

(a) To work a job that I looked forward to every day

(b) To visit every country on the globe

(c) To be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend

5. Someone is visiting your place where you live at the moment. Name two things you regret your city not having...

(a) A larger, more vibrant Black community

(b) A Black Cultural Center (@ the U of Minn)

...and two things people should avoid

(a) the politically correct thing to say for an educated liberal such as myself would be "the Mall of America" but I LOVE MOA so eff-it!

(b) anything having to do with the Prairie Home Companion (after 5+ years here I still don't get Garrison Keillor's humor...guess I'm not the "intended demographic")

6. Name one event that has changed your life.

(I know this is corny) Giving birth to my daughters

* To fit into a size 8 dress one more time.

5. Someone is visiting your hometown/place where you live at the moment. Name two things you regret your city not having,
* A public transportation system

1. What were three of the stupidest things you have done in your life?
a) Got drunk, rolled into a sewer ditch. Got some in my ears, nose...and MOUTH. b) During a collegiate fieldtrip, our bus stopped to fuel. Most of us debused to get snacks. Instead of quickly paying for my goods and returning to the bus, I politely allowed a few coeds ahead of me in line. By the time I was done paying for my stuff, the bus had left without me. I ended up have to walk nearly 20 miles in near 100 degree and 100% humidity and 100% MOSQUITOS back to campus. c) Shot my mouth off to the wrong person and ruined a chance at a 3-way with 2 bi-chicks. One was Black. The other Asian.

2. At the current moment, who has the most influence in your life?
My wife.

3. If you were given a time machine that functioned, and you were allowed to only pick up to five people to dine with, who would you pick?
Jesus, Harriet Tubman, Malcolm X, Albert Einstein and Abraham Lincoln.

4. If you had three wishes that were not supernatural, what would they be?
I'm confused by "were not supernatural" but 1) Longest, healthiest and happiest possible lives for my wife/kids. 2) First contact with a superior, benevolent alien life form. 3) Utter elimination of self-hated amongst people of African descent.

5. Someone is visiting your hometown/place where you live at the moment. Name two things you regret your city not having, and two things people should avoid.
Regrets: 1) Honest, selfless local politician. 2) Streets WITHOUT potholes.
Avoid: 1) Swimming in any local rivers. 2) Pidgeon droppings.

6. Name one event that has changed your life.
While in fourth grade, I met a very articulate, well-read and nerdy 9 year old brothah who taught me it was okay for a Black guy to want to read, be smart, get good grades and dream. He remains the best friend I've ever had.

'Vette,

You're actually quite insightful. 1) and 2) probably occurred within a 1 or 2 week period.

(Parents. It's probably NOT a bad idea to pay an unscheduled visit to your kids' college...especially on a weekend.)

Kola,

You are SUCH a girl.

You ask about my friend's opinion of you then appear indignant when I share it.

Truth is my homie figures you're a couple of great f*#$jobs short of being d*#$whipped into domesticated submission. But then I imagine you've heard THAT ONE from A LOT of guys.

Btw: Video compliment your beauty and persona better than do stills. Now I've GOT to find some of those Arab Erotic films you made! :-)

Correction: 'Vette, "1) and 2)" is certainly a) and b)

(It probably would help if I actually READ 1/2 the stuff I've written.)

ABM--where you did I become indignant?

I was giggling and jiggling as I wrote the following:

Well, ABM, even with all my black man bashing---one thing they LOOOOVE about me----is that I love being boned, and preferrably, BY THEM.

______

also,

what I do is much worse than bashing.

I'm trying to KILL some of these motherfuckers.

You be tripp'n boy

And Thomas, who has already proven your pal's theory to be correct (about making me Domesticated), would agree that it doesn't take much for black males to win over Kola.

But that pretty much goes for all black women. And amazingly---black men have never tried to win over black women, because black women make them black and have no status in this white superior culture. As I said in the video---a mixed, imitation black woman has been risen by these men...in lieu of their aquiring the White woman that they feel they need for validation. MOST black men in the U.S. deliberately seek out the lightest woman they can find for marriage.

Everyone with half a brain and EYES sees the intra-racism that Black men subject ALL black women to via standards of White Supremacy.

So chew on that while you're calling up KINO INTERNATIONAL to purchase the 48+ Arabic films I appeared in----always the only black in the film and always the barechested temptress slut.

Have at it while I do the dishes.

Kola,

Evidence of your being "indignant"? Hmmmmmm? How should a man interpret your fiery rants of gendercide?

As some of foreplay via the Marquee de Sade?

I doubt you will be able to continue to enjoy being boned by brothahs once word spreads you wish to kill off a sizable percentage of 'em.

And if, by some miracle, I manage to grow a WHOLE brain, what will I witness: Adoring naked well-hung Black men obediently fanning, feeding and pleasuring dominant sistahs?

Btw: Now that I seen 'them' in action, the "jiggling" image is workin' for a brothah. *wink*

I'm not dominant. You know that.

Which is why your comments are frustrating me.

You men take women's banter too seriously.

When I say kill them---I mean give birth to a new son.

No more PIMPS and Colorstruck ClydesDales.
