Inspired by recent events, I'd like to offer this thread. It's for anyone who is just tired of a topic and wants to put it to rest.
Think of the definitive last words to put on a tombstone. Or, alternately, write an obituary for the topic.
Be more creative than I was here. (You can generate your own tombstone here: http://www.jjchandler.com/tombstone/ )
Note that I am not trying to shut down conversation on any topic. Just thought I'd throw out an idea for some creative venting. Actually, you could with your tombstone/obituary mourn a topic you would have liked to see get more conversation, as well as those you are tired of talking about.

On the 13th of June of this year meaningful conversation about the Trial was callously vaporized by several zombies posing as web discussants. This unfortunate incident occurred on a conversation thread in the Kool Room. The deceased was reported to have shouted "Wait! This isn't the 'Thriller' video!" just before expiring. The MJ Molestation Trial is survived on the Neverland Ranch by fifty or so zoo animals and a dozen olive-skinned boys. Funeral services will be held the 2nd of next month. |
