For those looking for the perfect vacation this summer.....please treat yourself to Senegal's magical "PINK LAKE".

It's a lake that's actually "pink"----because of the high level of salinity in it when the sun hits it (sometimes it's purple, but mostly pink)....and as well, people and most objects are not able to sink to the bottom of the lake. The lake is also supposedly a "love spell" for those seeking their true love. Once entering the lake holding hands....you are blessed by Senegal's great lovers of ancient times and filled with their deep devotion and everlasting love.

Here's a link:

http://www.au-senegal.com/decouvrir_en/geo_retba.htm

I can guarantee that you'll LOVE visiting this beautiful lake......you'll love the various Tribes that mine salt from the lake and inhabit the colorful quaint villages that surround the lake......and you'll love the convenience of the nearby major cities and the breathtaking natural wonders of the area

....and the DELICIOUS seafood that makes this area so popular and famous.

It's the best place to go for black lovers.

**This was my most romantic vacation with Thomas.......the magical PINK LAKE in Senegal!!!!

**There are several kinds of "sand" that you can find at and around Pink Lake.

The sand is so beautiful.....the colors are "Black", "Eggshell tan", "Pink", "Blue", "Azure Green", "Strawberry Purple"

....it's so wonderful in West Africa, because the SAND comes in so many beautiful colors.

AS YOU CAN SEE HERE....PINK LAKE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE OCEAN

AND THE COAST OF "SENEGAL" CANNOT.....be topped.....when it comes to Seafood.

Talk about delicious and CHEAP. They serve LOBSTERS 4 times the size of New England Lobsters-----for about 75cents

African Sea Lobster

and have you ever had WEST AFRICAN PANCAKES???

pancake batter

Well the batter is made out of potatoes and buttermilk....

you then add shrimp, sliced mango, bellpepper, sea onions, yam perry and pineapple

shrimp

pancakes

you fry it in oil until it browns

then....once you have a stack of about 3 pancakes, you cover them in soft butter and African Sap Syrup.

pancakes

OH MY GOD-----African Sap Syrup is soooooo good.

Of course, the West Africans are absolutely "RELIGIOUS" about "Kola". They serve Kola Drinks and Kola Nuts with just about everything. Children use the pulp inside for "chewing gum".

But be warned....Kola nuts are a STRONG aphrodisiac.

If you try the "Kola Syrup" on your pancakes---you'll see what I mean. You'll also taste the Rum and Arabic sugar.

PINK LAKE IN SENEGAL....is the IDEAL vacation spot this summer!!!

Hi Chris,

It was about $3,500 per couple when we went. We went with a large group of people. But that was 5 years ago.
