Why is the world mourning the Pope’s death? Assuming he’s gone on to his heavenly reward, shouldn’t his mourners be celebrating?
Is it true the lovely and vivacious America Top Model Eva Pigford and hip-hop extraordinaire Missy Elliot are an ‘item’?
Has anyone seen or heard ANYTHING about President Bush’s embezzling, fraudulent, whoremongering younger brother Neil?
Did sanctimonious father-figure Bill Cosby know that as he was making millions hocking Jell-O to America’s children that gelatin is the chemical equivalent of pig fat?
Will Kola continue to brandish that wondrous set of hooters of her’s AFTER they’ve lost their youthful buoyancy and sweep the floor as she walks? |

Hi ABM.
No, I won't. In fact, I may be moving to WARNER BOOKS very soon and I'm thinking of not doing a topless back cover for my new novel, "The Sexy Part of the Bible". Not sure yet.
BUT
I was at the Black Writers on Tour Festival yesterday....my table was OH-SO-Popular!!!!!!....and I didn't wear a bra and many of the men who hugged me would go, "Oh god, they're real!" It was so funny.
I GOT TO MEET CRYSTAL!!!!!!
My table was next to author Parry Brown, who has a gorgeous Arab-looking husband and son. Or they might be Iranian. Not sure, but wow is her hubby cute. Anyway she was so funny and she was really fascinated by me once people started whispering in her ear about me---gossip.
Much more later...
Right now, I'm still hung over from Dr. Rosie's after party. I let Charles Brister (activist Mr. Unite-US) take me.
I can't believe all the men who are IN LOVE with Kola Boof!!!
To me, it's really as though they're in love with this OTHER woman that I've created who really isn't me. It was so strange and amusing, but lots of fun.
If I REALLY wanted to date again...I found out last night that there's TONS of handsome black men who would love to move in on me. I really had thought it was curtains for me.
I MET Vanessa Bell Calloway!!! (who is so gorgeous and hilarious) and they gave Stevie Wonder an award, although I wasn't in that part of the hotel at the time. Earth Wind and Fire was there also.

I’m SOOOO jealous you met Vanessa BC. I’ve had crush on her for a decade.
I had a pretty time last night too. My eldest daughter threw me a surprised birthday party (actually TODAY’S my B-day). Had A LOT of good company, food/liquor and music.
And I got to rub chests with lots of attractive women too. Alas, many of them were relatives.
Still, I’m blessed.

I was thinking the former, and hoping the latter.

BUT ABM....
I really am thinking of making my "autobiography" this summer....my LAST topless back cover.
From now on, I'm thinking of not having my photo on the covers anywhere period.
BY THE WAY...my "erotica" short story collection has been put on hold. I don't know when that will come out now, if ever.
My next two novels:

"The White Man's Mother" (a masterpiece! I think this is my best "literary" writing)

Vanessa Bell Calloway is VERY NATURAL and very, very PRETTY.
Film doesn't do her justice.
She has this "aura" and she's extremely down to earth and EXTREMELY!!!!!! funny.
She bought my book "Long Train" and "Flesh and the Devil" and we chatted about Fox Searchlight saying that ONLY Halle Berry could get the film about my life financed and that only she could be cast.
Very sad, because someone like Vanessa would be PERFECT to play me---although she's much shorter and a lot prettier.

Actually ABM...there was one man who came to my SEMINAR who I kept thinking was YOU.
He was very dapper and handsome and he cried at one point when I was talking about how I feel about AA's and explaining the evolution of White Male Aggression and the "reasons" for Black Male civilization (which was to protect us women and children from the animals) as opposed to the later White Male civilization.
After the lecture, I gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek.
I met a lot of very important black men, and many people were thrilled to see that I actually DO exist (remember the N.Y. Times tried to suggest that I was the web creation of a white college kid).
CRYSTAL was THERE!!!!!
She is so sweet and funny and I was happy to see her.
She REFUSED to take a free copy of "Flesh"---so I charged her, but I gave her free copies of my other books and I gave her a CD of the Wash. D.C. interview with my Adoptive Mother and me. She was so nice.
I met a lot of people there who I've talked to online for YEARS and never met.
I met Los Angeles radio DJ JAMAL GOREE (he's interviewed me 5 times, but we've never met until yesterday). He's hosting a Book Event exclusively for my book "Flesh" in MAY...and because of his radio popularity, I'm sure the turn out will be huge. I couldn't turn it down.

Thank you ladies for the Birthday well wishes. I’ll place them close to my heart (especially those that include Kola’s 'wonder twins'...YIPEEE!).
(The Marilyn Monroe & JFK thing has given me an interesting idea for a setting for a birthday present I expect to get from my wife this evening.)
Mah, I suspect you’re adept at conferring quite an assortment of ‘presents’.
Kola, I’m glad you find Vanessa and Crystal to be as pleasant and humorous in person as they appear otherwise.
I’m SOOOO proud of you Kola and I'm happy to see you are beginning to realize the harvest of the crops you've planted. You are a sterling example that if one remains strong and faithful to one's talents, she will prevail.

I don't know if you read Keshawnta's Insert over at www.whudat.com, but here's what she had to say about Eva/Missy:
"Missy and Eva Dating???
Rumors have been floating around that rapper Missy Elliott and "America's Next Top Model" winner Eva Pigford are a couple. The New York Daily News reported that they were seen at a play together looking very cozy and Eve continuously referred to Missy as babe, while Missy admonished her for misbehaving.
New York radio personality Wendy Williams referenced the alleged relationship and now Missy's manager Mona Scott is blaming Wendy for the starting the rumors. Mona Scott denied the rumors to the New York Post. She says, "Wendy Williams has basically linked all of my clients together. She's a gossip-monger and does this stuff for ratings and so listeners will tune in.''
Missy and Eva have been spotted together at numerous events, but Mona also claims she was there with them and was just taking two of her clients out.
Mona Scott is full of it. I'm not saying that Missy and Eva truly are a couple, because I don't know nor do I care. What I do know is that Mona must be invisible because there are photos of Missy and Eva at most, if not all of these events and Mona Scott is never in any of the photos. She'd be kind of hard to miss if she was there as she always claims to be. No manager takes their clients out that much.
As for Wendy Williams being a gossip-monger, yes she is, but she did not start this rumor. Wendy is usually pretty late with rumors and rarely ever starts them herself, if at all. She will give any rumor legs, but that's usually as far as it goes with Wendy. There were rumors flying around left and right that Eva was gay even while her cycle of "America's Next Top Model" was airing. She did have a boyfriend at the time of the show and they were still together after the show ended. Once she was announced as the winner, she would take him with her to different events. I haven't seen him with her since then and I have no idea if they are still together.
I first read about the Missy/Eva rumor in an interview with club kid Richie Rich, who is one half of the clothing design duo collectively known as Heatherette. He outed that relationship way back when, possibly in its beginning stages. Then I heard it elsewhere. Wendy was the last person I heard bring up the rumor, so it's a bit tired that Mona Scott is trying to use Wendy as a scapegoat.
Missy and her handlers must get tired of defending Missy's sexuality, especially if she is the lesbian that she portrays herself to be. I don't care how many statements are released saying that Missy likes boys, I'm not buying it and neither are most others. I don't care who or what Missy prefers, but it's getting old. I wish they would just choose not to speak on it at all, it would just come off so much better than vehemently denying it all the time. She's grown, she doesn't have to validate anything to her public but her music.
Does she not see how Beyonce and Jay-Z did it? Even though I swear they are married with children, when asked about their relationship they will not give one single detail? Missy needs to follow suit and just ignore it."
