To all of you who've been emailing me about how much they miss the good old days of Cynique, ABM, Lambd, Linda, Carey and others...you're in for a special treat. It's the new AALBC.COM soap opera..."Keepers of the Flame"....and it debuts this Friday EXCLUSIVELY in The Kool Room. It's the tantilizing saga of multi-millionaire baseball legend "Carey Unique" and his golddigging wife, "Cynique", who want only the best for their three children...sweet virginal Kabrina, family snob and socialite, A_Womon, and their coldblooded Rastafarian playboy son TROY. Of course, out in the back house lives the family's life long maid and secret-keeper, "Mama Linda"....the mother of three ultra-successful sons....football superstar "Lambd", handsome horse breeder, "ABM" and well hung Federal Agent "Solomon Bones". Set in the mythical town of Apple Valley, Pennsylvania...."KEEPERS OF THE FLAME" also features exciting, drama-rich characters like.... "Moon-Rind", the white book editor determined to produce a tell all book about the inhabitants of Apple Valley...the town lawyer "Lawchic", her husband "Mayor Emanuel Carpenter" and their gay son "Venison"...."Dr. Chris Hayden" and his teenaged son "Brandon Massey", who sees "DEAD PEOPLE" and believes he's a vampire...the mysterious teen drifter and poet, "Bleek Indigo"....the town's resident Psychiatrist, "Dr. Crystal"....and the hospital's alcoholic R.N. with a devastating secret past, "Nurse Sisgal". Please accept my apologies all. TROY has a lot of "KINKS" to work out and I'm hoping he will get on it fast. I am supposed to have power to delete posts and take care of this...but my account isn't working today. I can't speak with TROY until tonight, because he works a day job. Yes, I just checked my email and I cannot get to TROY until tonight. It's no use calling him at work, because the corrections needed would take time and he has has very demanding executive job as it is. Linda, THANK YOU. Actually, the Mama Linda character isn't based on your own personality....because she really GIVES her sons hell about who they pair up with. Nobody's good enough for them and she STAYS in their business. So in that regard...she's not like you. I hope TROY gets in touch with me this evening and gets my "Administrator" account back working...or I won't be able to post the show on time. Linda, I just read your emails. If you were trying to post to the KEEPERS OF THE FLAME pages--it's not working, because I'm the only one who's supposed to be able to post on that board. We don't want people changing the soap around to suit them or undermind it, LOL, although I know you wouldn't do that. Unfortunately, right now, I'm only able to READ mail at kola@aalbc.com, not SEND any--so I'm posting here. Hopefully Troy will get all these glitches cleared up tonight or the soap won't be posted. | ||

Dear Board, EPISODE #3 of "Keepers of the Flame" is where our little internet soap REALLY takes off running--the shocking secret about A_WOMON especially gets you hooked...wanting to know how it will turn out. Bless Lawchic for keeping the girl's secret!!!! Please do not blame me for the PROVOCATIVE and very sexual "revelation" in this particular episode about "Ms. Nixon"...it was not my doing!!! But damn, damn, damn....did the writers bring it or what??? If you don't read a single episode...you MUST read and watch EPISODE #3. Kathleen Cross, Moon-Rind, A_WOMON, Kola Boof, Chris Hayden, Troy Unique----all have major secrets revealed in this one---and the A_WOMON storyline and Kabrina's love story really come to life. This is going to be a REALLY GOOD soap.
