Hello All, I am way late in announcing the CWMYB March selection. This month's book, Rendezvous Eighteenth is the latest by one of my favorite authors in the whole wide world Jake Lamar. I've read all of his novels. And with the exception of If 6 Were 9, I loved them all. If you haven't read Lamar's books yet, Rendezvous Eighteenth is an excellent place to start. Here's the link to get it: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0312289200/aalbccom-20 |

I've read only two of Lamar's books; the first which I believe was a memoir & If 6 Were 9, which I found to be very entertaining until it arrived at a rather unsatisfying conclusion {I thought the take-off on Stanley Crouch & Charlie Rose was pretty good}. I will check out his new book. |

Hello All, I just finished Rendezvous Eighteenth by Jake Lamar! The book was beyond marvelous! I loved it! The ending was off the chain! I definitely know how to pick 'em. *patting myself on the back* |
