Hello All, Earlier last week, I finished reading A Phat Death by Norman Kelley. The book is wonderful! Kelley is definitely carving his own niche in the mystery/suspense genre with Nina Halligan. Not only is the mystery tight and surprising, but Kelley is also proving to be a new voice on the social commentary field as well, and in A Phat Death, Kelley turned his eye on Hip Hop. Kelley has some interesting, or rather a few of his characters, comments on Hip Hop. Nina is nothing less than fascinating! Here's another recommendation, A Phat Death is just that...PHAT!
