Hello All,
If you haven't hit the homepage lately, please do. We have posted some new reviews for the new year. There's one on Gloria Mallette's The Honey Well. I absolutely LOVED-ED that one! Mama Esther is the mother from Hell. I highly recommend it. Let's see, I did one on Tananarive Due's latest novel, The Good House. I liked this one as well. It's a big ol' fat book, but its delicious.
Now for those of you who is into poetry, there's a little something for you as well. My boy Rondall has written two excellent reviews. The first one is Blues Poems edited by Kevin Young. This is the only poetry book that I had ever considered reviewing. The book is a small book of blues lyrics. It's awesome. Rondall's second review is on a collection of Nikki Giovanni's poetry.
We have plenty more coming up including reviews of Carl Weber's new book Player Haters, Brenda Thomas' new book Fourplay, and a few other titles. Keep a look out for those as well. |
