OK, I loved the book. Since we've talked about vampire books before, this book had me precariously balanced on the edge of my seat every time I picked it up. Its no doubt a BAB but worth every minute it takes to read. It took me two days. The characters are well developed, the plot rivoting and the design superb. Anyone care to discuss with me? |

Hello All, akaivyleaf: As I said in my review, the book would have been outstanding if Massey ditched Nia and that whole Nia being stalked subplot. But the rest of the novel, excluding Nia and all was excellent. Now, Dark Corner IS a vampire novel. |

I liked the romantic subplot Thump. I thought that it added a little realism to a very unrealistic theme. There had to be something to bring her back to her quaint hometown. The part about the stalker showing up and finding her did add to the page count, but overall it didn't disuade me from enjoying it. I enjoyed the Vampire stuff very much. I thought it very classic and it caused me to look over my shoulder a few times It reminded me of my other favorite horror novelist, Tananarive Due. It had the power to make me react. |

I just finished Dark Corner when I caught the train to NYC on business yesterday and it is an excellent read. Brandon did a fantastic job with character development with everyone from Diallo and Kyle to Junior and Jahlil. Peace, Zane |
