Dear People,
This is Sister Nanette Fuller from the A.M.E. Church in Los Angeles.
For Martin Luther King's Holiday (Jan. 19th, 2004)...author Kola Boof will give a speech and lead the Egyptian Coptic Choir in song at Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle's rally against Slavery in the Sudan. 100 former slaves from Southern Sudan, including Dinka, Nubian and Shilluk tribesmen are being flown into Southern California for the event.
Other speakers will include radio personality Dr. Laura Schlesinger, Congressman Cass Ballenger and Rev. Dwight D. Muncey, Jr.
More than 500 supporters are expected to participate--as well as more than 200 armed guards and policemen of Anaheim and other Orange County Law Enforcement Agencies. Security will be on MAXIMUM...Safety is the First Priority. So don't be afraid to attend.
The event will be held at 10 a.m. in the city of Anaheim at CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) at 2180 West Crescent Avenue Anaheim, Ca. 92801.
