Hello All, Although I started talking about Triple Take by Y. Blak Moore in a previous post, I decided to take my opinion to a new thread. I hope you all don't mind. I just finished it, and I liked it a lot. Yasmin, I have to agree with you. Moore sex scenes and the relationship he tried to write between Champagne and JC was not good, nor was it necessary for the story. I felt the book would have been better, tighter if Moore had JC as a loaner. The rest of the book was quite good. |

Exactly Thumper! Moore didn't need to add any sex to the book to make it work. The plot itself was compelling enough...I liked his raw, gritty writing style but when he used the same approach with his romance/sex scenes well it just didn't work. I wonder if his editor was a man. |

Hello Yasmin, It's not whether the editor was a man or not, but if the editor was good or not. I wouldn't have let it in if it was me. |

Just finished this one and yes! It was the bomb! But i agree with both of you, could have done without the sex scenes altogether. Can't wait for his next novel, "The Apostles". |

I just read and blurbed Y. Blak Moore's new book, The Apostles, which I enjoyed. I think it will be out this summer. |
