Hi all, I was just wondering if the above exist. I'm very interested in doing something (like Mary Kay, 'cept it'll be for black books) like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Kat |

Kat, I'm not sure about the book party portion but there are a few online black book stores like www.kisobooks.com and www.cushcity.com that may be able to help you. To have a book party, you may want to hire a PR firm. Good luck, Emanuel |

Kat, Usually when you hire a PR firm they will get with some of the well ranked bookstores and plan a book party or what we in the industry call a book drop but they are plenty of black own bookstores. There's actually a new one getting ready to come to the online service called Maghonay Books the link is www.maghonaybooks.com I know the young lady who owns it is basically looking for all black books. But also try karibu in maryland. Hope this helps! |
