Hello All, I finished Blood on the Leaves by Jeff Stetson a couple of days ago and the book was EXCELLENT!! It's a mystery with a courtroom drama thang happening in it. It's been an awfully long time, too long, since I've read a good courtroom drama. The book is about a black professor who teaches a history class exposing white men who murdered and lynched black folks in the 50s and 60s and got away with it. The accused white men begin showing up murdered, the same way the killed their black victims decades before. Good stuff. The story takes place in good ol' Mississippi. Blood on the Leaves is full book that has it all in it. I can't wait to see what Stetson next book is going to be. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0446527068/aalbccom-20 |

Wow Thump! It's funny you should mention that. I have the book in my hands right now and just read page one. I'm looking forward to getting into this one. |
