you men really need to start telling us what you really want.For instance if I have worked 12 hour a day and I come home tired and I say baby if would you mind take out or can you cook tonight tell me no don't do it and hold it over my head for month's.I am not a mind reader and I don't know what you really want.If I buy a new dress and I ask you for your honest opinion why not give it to me in the raw if the dress is ugly tell me I can take it I'm a black woman.If you finally decide that this isn't what you want why let me throw away another 6 years if you knew it years ago.Fella's just answer the questions please. |

SOA,
There are all kinds of guys for all kinds of gals. I too work +12 hours/day virtually every day of the week. Yet I cook much more often than my wife. That's because 1) I enjoy cooking, 2) I am a better cook is she and 3) I love watching my kids eat food that I have cooked.
I don't know...maybe you should have hooked up with someone who enjoys watching the Food Channel.
Now, I think you are being disingenuous about wanting an "honest opinion" about how you look in a new dress. A sane man wouldn't be caught dead telling a sister that a dress she spent all day shopping for looks "ugly" on her. It's just not worth the hassle. I recently had an argument with my wife because when she asked me was she getting heavy I didn't immediately appease her with my boilerplate "Naw, Baby. You look as fine as you did the day I met you." response.
Face it, you all don't REALLY want to know ALL of what we think about how you look.
But, to answer your question of what it is we really want: I am inclined to think many of us desire within our women an eclectic combination of their mother, Oprah Winfrey, Halle Berry and an a retired (though not reformed) porn star. |

Well, well, well, this might not be the best time to address this issue, since well, I won't go into it here, but let's just say, I FEEL YA! Okay, but listen here, here's my take : You've given your best and sometimes even that is not enuf. Some men become bored, and as the title goes, some are NEVER SATISFIED...some turn 40 and want change. My belief, I don't want to be with anybody, who don't want to be with me. There is obvious no right answer to this, believe me, I have searched the universe to find it, talked to many men, and finally my answer came from God. Just stand. Have faith and everything shall be as it should. I've had twenty pretty good years and i'm looking forward to twenty or thirty good more, whether i be alone, or in union with someone, all I want is to be happy, and no one can make me happy but me! So, hang in there sister, author friend, write your books, and live, one day he may see that the grass ain't greener! |

Lol ABM the food channel I think not then he'd be trying to get me to cook that food to I'm already having a hard enough time with the things I already cook no more please.You know come to think of it maybe that isnt such a bad idea.Yea your right I really might not want to know what he thinks of that new dress(huh).All I'm saying though is tell me before I spend my hard oearned money on it just be real with me.Aretired porn star (hmmmmmmm). Sisg thank you for the advice and you are right I don't want to be with anybody that doesnt want to be with me.I wish he would just stop with the mix signs. |
