Or does it seem harder for a female to make it in this business (any business)? How many of you have had a man hit on you FIRST before helping you with what you need? |

Hmmm, interesting question Justwrite. I think women generally have it harder in any business, but not always because of a man. I have encountered women who have tossed blocks in my way as well. Jealousy, competition, and hateration is very much still alive. Where men may flirt, women become territorial and down-right devious if they feel threatened by another women, think that woman wil gain more than them or you don't fit in their click zone. I haven't found many men (especially in the writing world) that behave this way. |

Justwrite, you are welcome. But many of us who are still mud wrestling in the trenches, have been for a while and whether others speak up or not we know or newbi's will soon learn that it's alot of who you know, being in the right place or having the right story at the right time. |

aint that the truth, linda! man, you should read the things passion posted on "no wonder negroes aint readin" it reinforces what you just said. I know she been drinkin haterade all day long. And she must have been drinkin it with no sugar cause she seems so bitter!
