Hello All, Earlier last week, I started and finished Glenville Lovell's new novel Love and Death in Brooklyn. It was WONDERFUL!! All of you who read and loved his previous Blades Overstreet novel, Too Beautiful To Die, is going to love Love and Death in Brooklyn! The bad news is is that it won't be published till August. I'll keep you all posted. Today, believe it or not, I started and finished Bernice McFadden's latest novel, Camilla's Roses. I ADORED THIS BOOK!! I started the book at 6 am and finished it at 8:45 am. Keep in mind I don't have any children to interrupt my reading. Oh this book is small succulent bittersweet dream of a novel. I do feel a little guilty though. I didn't spend a half day reading the book and I know Miss Bernice spent a good long while to write it. Camilla's Roses is all that and I highly recommend it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0525947965/aalbccom-20 |

Thump: I loved Camilla's Roses as well. I love Bernice's treatment of the characters, particularly, Maggie Rose, Audrey, and Camilla. |
