I got an email from someone today who was looking for a book. The book sounds like it might be interesting so I thought I'd ask, on be half of the emailer, if anyone on our board was familiar with the title -- it sounds like this may be an interesting book: Original Resquest: To whom it may concern, I’m hoping you can help me find a book. I used it in my classroom last year but have misplaced the title. When I returned to the library to check it out, the librarian was unable to help me figure out the book. It was a generational picture book about an African American family. The story was intertwined with the life of a quilt. The brother and sister were separated but were reunited at the end of the story. One of them still had a small piece of the quilt. Do you have any ideas. It is not Sweet Clara and the Freedom Quilt or The Patchwork Quilt. If I can find the title, I’d like to purchase this book.
