What are your reading ones [behave Carey!]? I have always been a fan of historical novels and for some perverse reason, because I believe their history is some of the worse, I love reading English historical novels. Chinese too – anybody remember Pearl Buck? Although due to the suggestions of all you fine folks I haven’t had much time to lighten the spectrum of my reading lately. I am reading an Elizabethan murder mystery right now though. I also like to read cookbooks.

Crystal, I don't have much time these days for guilty pleasures--at least not of the literary variety *wink*. But a few years back, I used to read Soap Opera Digest, weekly, religiously. For years, when I couldn't watch soaps (the CBS ones are all I've ever watched, starting as a young child when the grown folks used to have me watching "the stories"), I would read SOD to keep up. Nowadays, I haven't read or watched in years. But you know how it is: watch a few episodes, and you get caught up in no time. |
