Yeah, where are you ahhh.......ahhh...entertaining others at. What's in your world today? What was it today that made you smile or grimice in pain? Do you ever think about that ONE "lover", that today still makes you smile and think of what could have been. Do you ever think about that one person that knew what you wanted and needed. That one somebody that knew how to open the gates to a peacefull mind. I wonder how you have been my good man. Do you ever think about us, your friends here in your house that are not really in your house but who are however in your heart and mind. What's up partner, could you spare a dime, or should I say some time? We all miss you .......even though you sometimes got on our last nerve *smile*. See, friendship is a funny funny thang. It's a thang that sometimes gives way to bullshit and false drama. It's also a thang thats needed as much as fresh air. Friendship and love are sometimes synonymous. They both can develope some ugly hurt and pain yet love hope and happiness. We miss you my brotha. Could you give us a holla. Would you break the binds or fill the holes that your absence has create. I know it was not intentional but it's nevertheless true. Btw, have you ever told someone that they make you feel sooooo damn good. Have you ever told someone that thinking of them sometimes fills the need to have them close by you. Have you ever dropped a tear behind the words "baby I LOVE you" or "don't you ever stop loving me, because I'll never stop loving you, I need you in my life and I am loving every minute of it". Have you ever whispered the words, "do not ever stop loving me because if you do, I will die, I can not concieve of a life, of a day without you". I've heard the words, "baby I would die for you, baby I love you , I love only you". Ouuu we, memories! Well, where the heck did that come from? Anyway, has anyone seen ABM? Let me get upstairs and call someone, I have suddenly developed a need to be held. Bye y'all. Carey |

Well Chris, I've checked and it has been about 10 weeks since ABM has posted on any of the baords. Of course I enjoy you all, but I must admit, ABM is perhaps one of my favorite posters. However keep in mind ABM is a prolific poster. ABM, after being out of action for 10 weeks, is still the number one poster on these boards! Only Cynique comes close. Even Kola (with her multiple identities) does not compare in terms of number of posts. ABM probably needed a well deserved break. The cool thing about these baords if you look at the most requent posters (top 10 posters below); abm cynique a_womon chrishayden yukio lambd kola_boof moonsigns carey thumper they are all some of my favorites posters they post a lot and write interesting things. They keep the board alive -- live. Thank you. When I look for a post to read I go not only by the subject, but I also check out who is participating in the discussion. In a search of ABM elsewhere on the net resulting in a few deadends: www.abm.com (home of ABM Industries Incorporated); The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers (for some reason this site seems to suit ABM); Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty; American Business Media; Assured British Meat, alas no ABM... Peace |

ABM and Lambd are probably on a pilgrimage to Tibet to discover the true meaning of life. Watch out for the Abominable Snow Man, you two. Journey on to Shangri La, and remember, "it is what it is." Ooooooooommmmm. |

I still check you out from time to time, Neek. Be careful, you starting to sound like Awoman with all that, "It is what it is" talk. BL |

Lambd in the house. Hummmm. Heeeey, Boo. And, actually, the first time I heard the expression you referred to was when I saw this movie a few years ago, based on a true story. After police had searched the home of a murder suspect and found the decomposed remains of his girlfriend, in answer to their demand for an explanation, he shrugged and replied: "it is what it is." (The guy was a hippie-type and I think this expression originated in that culture.) |

Cynique - You're talking about Ira Einhorn. He was a hippie guru who lived here in Philadelphia in the sixties and seventies. He had so completely scammed the dominant society here in Philadelphia that, even after he killed his girlfriend, put her in a trunk, and hid the trunk in the closet of his apartment for months, they let him get bail. Of course he immediately left the country and was gone for like, decades. They just extradited him from France like two years ago. And guess what? When they caught him, he had another girlfriend ... |

Yep, that's the guy, Solomon. I think the name of the made-for-TV movie was "The Unicorn Killer," and I believe Einhorn is still rotting away in prison, with his trial on hold. |

ALL: I thought he said "You found what you found." The phrase I think you are talking about is "Everything is everything" |

All of these phrases are a variation on the Zen koans that so intrigued the hippie population - and me. |
