Hello All,
You know, I got to thinking about this earlier today and wanted to share my thoughts with you all...including A_womon.
Themes and lines that you will never see in a bestselling AA novel:
1.) An "I started off a born again, church going, woman and turned into a straight up sex lovin' ho" novel.
2.) "What!!! Look, you've got 6 kids by 7 different baby mamas and you want me to go out on a date with YOU!?! You done lost your damn mind!"
3.) "Why should I spend $75 a week on my hair just to march down to the welfare office? Girl, you better get that do into a wash and wear cut and buy you some GE stock"
4.) "He asked me to pay his last month's rent and I stopped seeing him right then."
5.) "I shop at Burlington Coat Factory discount store."
6.) "Let me go ahead and clip these coupons now that I'm thinking about it."
7.) "Put on that Dinah Washington tape. I like to listen to people who can SING."
8.) "I told that teacher the VERY next time that girl acts up in class to give me a call."
9.) Two broke and ugly people find happiness.
10.) "I know all of the Brer Rabbit stories." |

Crystal: The word you missed is BESTSELLING. Unless I'm wrong, I don't see J. California Cooper's book on any AA Bestseller Book list. Do you? |
