Carey, I think you asked, but I'm sleepy and can't remember and don't want to check, but to make reading the boards easier, I use the Last Day option at the very end of the page...bottom left. It helps me see what was posted last in a quick view. For those that don't peek in as often, the Last Week option works the same. Check it out. Also, it appears that each thread is it's own little webpage, therefore, I don't think you can print out just one specific post...unless you do the whole thread. -Tee |

Yeah Tee, thanks, I'm finding that to be true. The Last Week and last Day option are great. Lately those have been a must haven't they. On the printing tip, I've found that once you do get into a thread you can limit what you print.....sorta. Most printers allows the user to choose the amount of pages one whats to print. Say for instance there were 50 pages. Well while in "print setup" theres a spot that allows you to choose say pages 29 thru 36. Or something like 1 thru 15 although there may well be 50 pages. But the key to this is knowing your printer. If a post is say halfway down a thread what page would that be on. It's been hit and miss for me. But I' am getting better at it . So for those of us that like to print posts, it's nice if the postees open a new thread. Check this out, there's a thread thats titled Introductions Please?? Well I was going to print a post and found out that the thread was 6 pages long (THEN). I didn't know that until I started printing, so I stopped the process, I didn't want to print 4 pages just to get to the one I wanted. I'm sure there are those that know of an easier way and I wish they would give us a holler. But then again if it's like you've said, each thread being it's own little webpage, I guess I'll just have to go with that. So in conclusion it depends on where your post fits in the thread and then asking your printer to print only those pages or page.....geeewizzz Thanks for the holler Carey |

Carey...hey! I'm on computer probation because I stayed up all night, but I peeked and wanted to answer this for ya. If you highlight the reply that you want, right click, click on Print and then on the Print Range, you can select Print Selection. When I initially answered, I didn't think about that, but I do it all the time. It works on all three of my computers, so I'm hoping it'll work for you as well though it may depend on your printer. I don't know. LOL. I'm headed back off and will catch up with the rest of the posts later. -Tee |

Glad you got the computer issue straightened out. Computers can be such a pain. I know this isn't appropriate but if Carey remembers Karen (Marc), drop me a line. |
