Dearest Sis Cynique, you mentioned in another thread that "dreadlocks" are not from African culture but created by Rasta in West Indies. This not true. Ancient Ethiopians and Israelis wore dreadlocks. The Israelis stopped wearing them once their hair texture became Euro-like enough. But the original Jews wore dreadlocks before anyone else in Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan and continue to do so. Peace and love sista.

Did, or do people from the ivory coast of West Africa wear dread locks? This where the ancestors of Black Americans came from. It's no big deal, really. Phoniness is the name of the game nowadays. LOL |
