It was suggested sometime ago that I should trim this discussion baord. Well I finally got around to doing it.
I've taken all of the discussion topics where the most recent post was at least 150 days old and moved them to the a new board Thumper's Corner Archive (http://www.thumperscorner.com/cgi/discus/discus.cgi?pg=topics). There were amost 2,900 posts in this category. Some of these post were really good and I did not have the heart to delete them -- hence Thumper's Corner Archive.
I did however delete any discussion topic where there was no more than one response. After scanning the discussion topics, it appeared these threads were of little intested or were only relating information that is now outdated. There were 168 topics in this category.
Overall over 3,000 posts were either archived or deleted. |
