Hello All, I just finished Rocking Around The Christmas Tree by Francis Ray and Donna Hill. And I must say that I found it rather cute. It's a small, short novel, the length is just about perfect for a holiday novel. I enjoyed it. Now on to Eric Jerome Dickey's Naughty or Nice. Crystal, I can see your mouth watering from here. *LOL* |

NOT! I read the blurb on amazon and it seems just like the rest of his designer name dropping, no-good men, wanna be porn crap. Doesn’t sound very Christmassy to me. Check this out: “Dickey is a master at writing about women and what they want and how they want it.” WTH??? Think I’ll pass. p.s. wonder if any of the women in this book can cook?

I finished Naughty and Nice this weekend, it kind of reminded me of "The Other Woman" by him. I don't understand why it had a Christmas theme though, except that it was the holiday season. The story had nothing to do with Christmas!! |

Hello All: I, too, just finished Naughty and Nice. I LOVED IT! I'm with you Cmack, it reminded me of The Other Woman too. But, it was also a throw back to his earlier books, Sister, Sister especially. When it comes to this genre, nobody does it better than Dickey. It also didnt' strike me as being a Christmasy type of book other than the story takes place at Christmas time. I enjoyed it nevertheless. |
