Hi Everyone, It's seems like an eternity since my last post. Hope all is well! Happy New Year! Here is an update of my most recent reading. I reread Morrison's Song of Solomon. I'm near finished Stephen Carter's The Emperor of Ocean Park and have just begun Baldwin's Another Country. I'll say good-bye for now. I have really missed being a part of this site. Peace. REK |

Hi Reppskearn, What do you think of the Emperor of Ocean Park? I'm currently reading that one, but I'm not quite at the halfway point yet. So far, so good. Take care. |

EOP had me in schizo mode while reading it. It is definatley a love/hate sorta book if I've ever read one. OF course by page 352, I just continued to read it just to prove a point (to myself I guess) that I could actually finish the tomb. In my opinon it's about 352 pages too long. But I do think Carter has a story to tell--and a tangents to go off on. |

LOL Sandra, this is the same thing my husband said. He read it, but I doubt I will anytime soon. He did however like it, so I guess that's a good thing. |

I've tried to read EOP, but it's too long. I'll give it a try my next vacation! |
