He made a mistake even mentioning him. Bill Clinton made the same mistake. Mentioned him. Rush spun routines off that for years. Used the sound bite. He has that trick of talking back and forth to the sound bite, and using and paraphrasing him up. I mean, he got enough to fool with. Obama can't win this fight--only throw him Jiu Jitsu and concede defeat at his hands but Im gonna keep on fighting for the American people and invite him to work with me helping save America etc etc. Here, Obama must show the power of Grace. Heaven help Rush if he has any more dope trouble, though. And also Obama shouldn't cuss. he shouldn't cuss not even at the cat while they are alone. It ought to be obvious to everybody know is that he is woefully lacking in the stature yet to avoid getting blown this way and that and he will have to acquire it. He's not a seasoned aristocrat like Kennedy or FDR nor a veteran of WAshinngton like Johnson or a ruthless schemer with a ring of iron like Nixon-- He is a great communicator like Reagan and hes' brighter than Clinton--he's way better than what we had. He seems like a very bright massage man and a great bridge builder--he should build roads with susceptibel enemies as well as friends. He has a terrible job ahead. |

What's a bright "massage man"?? Somebody who gives in a smart back rub? Ignoring Rush Limbagh does blunt his attacks. Indifference is a better response than anger. |

It amazes me how anyone with more than a tea spoon full of brain cells would listen or believe this bloated bellicose buffoon. Limbaugh is an opportunistic vitriolic charlatan who will say anything to antagonize and provoke for the purpose of getting ratings and attention. He is "the rejuvenation in progress" of the GOP. They would like to say Michael Steele is but Limbaugh has more clout and generates a more enthusiastic response than Steele. Not tryin' to hate, but I cannot understand how any black person can openly align themselves with the Republican party in face of their open hostility and indifference to the concerns and issues of black people. Am I the only one who sees this...???? |

Hello Well, "It amazes me how anyone with more than a tea spoon full of brain cells would listen or believe this bloated bellicose buffoon" I can answer that one; monkey sees, monkey do. Limbaugh has the ear of others JUST LIKE HIM. Some question why Obama would even play into his mess. I think we will agree that Obama is a very wise man. He knows that others listen to Limbaugh. And, in this case, I think Obama knows he has to at least let it be known that he is listening. Look, Obama should not "do it" like all others before him, it didn't work. Besides, he is unlike any other. He has not reached his present level "doing it" like others. All the naysayers, closet haters, cynics and fools will have to find another tune to sing. "He is a great communicator like Reagan and hes' brighter than Clinton--he's way better than what we had" Please, give me a break. Reagan WAS NOT a great communicator. He was a racist just like Limbaugh, but with a different spin. Well, if you consider Limbaugh a great communicator (which he is) then I can see where one might make the comparision. But to mention him and Obama in the same breath is blasphemy. And, Clinton IS A VERY VERY BRIGHT FELLOW! |

Hello All, Obama going after Fathead Limbaugh is a political ploy. This is all done to shame the hell out of the Republicans. Some of the Republicans know that they do not have a leader, a message or a plan. There is a void. Now when the Republicans decided to play cute by voting no on the stimulus bill, having a grand ol' time and all that stuff; well, see, they have to pay for that. They took Obama's kindness for a weakness, now he's paying them back for messing with him. And actually, its a smart ploy messing with Fathead; 1.) Now the Republicans look real, extra stupid because it appears that they are getting their orders from a fathead, illiterate, racist, idiot, radio talking head, who they have to pay a pound of flesh to and not working for their voting constituents(sp) and if Fathead was really all of that, he would be on TV and not still stuck on radio; 2.) Rush Limbaugh is such an egotisitcal idiot that he really believes that he's on to something because his fat ego is even fatter. Where he should be insulted because all that's doing is putting a big target on his big ass, so if things got wrong or get better, he's going to get blamed for it and that will mess with his audience which will mess with his money. But fathead aint seen this yet and when he does it will be too late. Like its been said, Fathead's audience alone can't get nobody elected on a national scale. So the Republicans are stupid. And Carey, how about your boy Michael Steele? If he was a REAL black man, I would be embarrassed by him! He went crying to Fathead Limbaugh apologizing and kissing that big ol fat white ass. Talk about a house slave!!? If he was in my neighborhood, back in the day, we would have jumped him for that silly crap!! The pea head, beaver bucktooth sumnabitch. |

*LOL* @ Thump There you go Thump, putting mess in the game. Those were pretty good posts. Well, except when you tried to link me to Michael Steele. Now, for the record I am standing with my uncle Burris but naw, nope, ain't gonna do it, I do not have any love for Micheal Steele. So you can go on back in the kitchen and eat your sugar pops. Suffering suckatash |

What's a bright "massage man"?? (This is essentially Obama--he can make people feel good about being with him, supporting him. He can give you confidence in himself. He can massage his way into many situations--keep the rhetoric and emotion at a miniumum, sway you with logic. Along with some heft it can do wonders. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a good massage man when needed, LBJ. Reagan. |

I assume, chrishayden, that you coined this incongruous "bright massage" phrase to describe a trait which has already been defined by the more cogent word "charm". |

Charm posits something that is real and heartfelt--but it would not be shown to someone one felt hatred or contempt for. Politics is the art of working with people one feels hatred or contempt for. Massage means something that is put on to get something out of somebody. You're from Chicago. You know the drill. |

Surely you don't think this deceptiveness is exclusive to Chicago. |
