Gayle needs to do what she does best, be Oprahs BFF. How do you get a job like that anyway, you know, being Oprah's best buddy? S**t, I'll take Steadman's job. Yes sir, I'll put on Steadman's slippers and chase her fat ass all around the house. I'd tell her to put on G-string and cook some chicken. Muuumph, I'd tell her to stop worrying about losing weight, just lock the door and keep steadman ass out of here.
Gayle needs to go get a cup of coffee or somethin'. She's the one that needs to apologize. She needs to tell the world that she is sorry for not passing out applications to be Oprah's BFF and running her mouth. What's her skills anyway? She wasted Oprah's money by having that sorry talk show. She needs to put her hands back on the steering wheel and tot that barge and lift that bale of money that Oprah is throwing her way.
Gayle King, if you are listening, you need to do what you do best and stop trying to act like you got good sense. Close yo' mouth before you get fired. Hey, am looking for a BFF and me and Oprah can make somebody jealous. Giddy up Oprah, lets go. |

When Britney Spears was going off her rockers last year, I found myself getting all caught up in it like "oh poor thing" But then I realized, these people may have personal issues but they have the money to go get help. I have to wake up every morning to work hard to make sure that there will be food on the table next week.
Chris has enough loot to pay his bills and get help.
As for Rihanna, time heals all wounds and what is having a tough time healing she has enough money to pay any top doctor to help the process. Whether physically or emotionally. What the doctor cant do, shopping can and Lord knows she's alright in that area.
Gayle: Love me some Oprah, but dont get me started on Gayle who the apology from Chris wasnt meant for in the first place. Who is she to accept or reject, and who cares if she does or not. Dummy.
Bottom line, none of these people have to worry about the electric bill, gas bill, grocery bill, after school care bill etc. What ever problems they do have, they have the ends to take care of it. Money isn't the solution for everything but it sure helps lighten the load.
This story is their publicists dream. Coverage without having to pay for it.

You brought up a very interesting point, Chocolate mint. I don't want to get started on the idea that one can buy their way out of mental distress. It's a huge issue and Psychiatry/Psychotherapy is the gutter of the medical field. They are like vitimins, some times they do more harm than good. They can be a waste of time and money.
Now, on the issue of money, you said a mouth-full. Particularly when you mentioned Child Care cost. Damn, the day of Grandma watching the kids are but a distant dream. Sure, some have the luxury of having relative watch the babies but you have to get your kids in structured inviorments at an early age. If one is lucky their children are in above 5 so that they can send them to school. Even then we are talking about making real choices about cost. But back to day care. That mess will put a hole in your pocket. Lawd knows that if you have 2 pre-school kids you are going to have to come up with real money. I mean something like $250.00 a week. AND, don't be late picking them up ...oh no! That cash register will start heating up.
Life ain't cheap.
I used to have a car note that was about $ 829.00.
Lets see,(1 month)
Car 300.00-1000.00 (1 car)
House-morgage/rent 800.00-2000.00
Insurance-health/cars/....150.00-250.00
Gasoline 100-200
Food 350.00-500.00
Phone/cable/Internet 100.00-200.00
Light & Gas 300.00-600.00
Child Care 500.00 (1 child)
Medical bills/Presriptions 100.00 200.00
Lawd have mercy. If one has a little car, and a small morgage, and 1 child they might get by with about 3,000-4,000 (cash) a month. Now we ain't even talking about going anywhere or credit card bills. That means a person needs to make about $60,000 to just get by because Uncle Sam is going to get his. On the big end we are talking a good 6 figures and that ain't no cake walk. $130,000-$160,000 a year ain't living like there's no tomorrow. A bigger house, 2 cars and 2 children will eat that up. |
