Critics of his work have turned Tyler Perry's output into subject matter for a masters thesis in Sociology focusing on the degrading aspect of Black American folk lore.
Tyler's biggest accomplishment is his realization that it's more gratifying for black folks to watch their Tom foolery on a screen than it is to read about it in a book. |
