Hello all, I knew there was a reason I couldn't stand this old fool. Peep this link about Burris's record, http://www.propublica.org/article/you-dont-know-burris-090116. Carey, you got any defense for Timothy Churchmouse's granddaddy? |

Thump, There you go, Thump, looking through the neighbors garbage cans, in an attempt to find some soiled mess. I feel so dirty using the same greasy quotes but, "They're not necessarily the most egregious actions" Let's start right there. What you talking about, Willis? I'll wait while you tell me what he did that was illegal. It would be virtually impossible for anyone to conduct business in any state that didn't include some connection to a friend or someone that you may have supported for election. And, how old was that coffee stained mess you reached under a rock to get. Let me see how this goes. So, if you give a contribution to someone, you are excluded from any further consideration from them. If that's the case, Obama has a very short list of individual he can have dinner with. Yes, that warmed over stew was a bunch of nasty mess served to haters. Close your mouth, your breath is .....*lol*. Thump, you gotta come better than this. Bring me some pictures with some fat white women or somethang. This was weak. It was a very slow, and soft volly. You remind me of the old deacons of the church who can't stand the new pastor or his wife. They think they talk to proper and dress to good. They long for the days in which their wives were the talk of the church. Every time they look at sister Mable or sister Hattie Mae, they get mad. It reminds them that they are getting old. Take you seat in the church and sit down and prey, Thump. Just sing along. You know the tunes; "Oh happy day" and "We shall overcome". Prey Thump, those resentments are going to eat you alive. |

Burris is really a mixed bag. He's - basically a decent man who also happens to be an unabashed opportunist. Presently, he is not without backing from certain quarters in Illinois, and what garners him growing approval from substantial numbers of Blacks is that the white politicians of both parties who criticize Burris are not that upstanding themselves. Their anger at him stems from their frustration over his being a pawn in the game that Blagojevich whipped on his foes. And quite a few of Burris' detractors are just plain pissed because they wanted a shot at the senate job themselves. Now they're all crying foul, insisting that they have the welfare of the people at heart. Yeah, right. A lotta Blacks feel the white pols are really mad cuz Blagojevich got his revenge by foisting that nigga on the state of Illinois. No matter how folks try to deny it, race matters. |

Yeah, y'all can call Burris SENATOR. It reminds me of the story they told about one of them Presidents The one who had the OOW son and they brought it up during the campaign. Was it Chester A. Arthur? Anyways, they spread it all around during the campaign. Arthur won anyway. The song they made up afterward went.. "Ma! Ma! Where's My paw? Gone to the White House Haw! Haw! Haw!" Go, Centralia! |

You should be advised that there's a difference between the Chicago way, and the Illinois way, Chrishayden. The Chicago way has a lot to do with political patronage and implied threats. Ol Roland just kinda caught everybody off guard and snuck in the back door. |

Hello, I guess what gets me is that Burris went through all that deceit just to have a fake Civil Rights Movement moment. And he ain't no better than any of those other politicians. And riddle me this, what is it with politicians who always put the finger to people to get their relatives a job!? Blago wanted somebody to give his wife a high paying job. Then that long head Norm Coleman wanted companies to put his wife on different boards so she can draw a paycheck. And now Timothy Churchmouse's granddaddy tried putting the touch on somebody to get his nephew jobs. What's up with that sh_t, can't these mothaf_cks put in a job application like everybody else? And then if being a public servant is taxing on your wallet, do the world a favor and step off. |

Riddle me this, why do some wish to call it something other than what it is? It's called networking, it's done every day. Questioning why politicians trade favors is like asking why baseball player spit and grab their nuts. It's what they do. |

Hello, Carey: I got the answer to your riddle. Networking is getting out meeting folks, playing golf, trading business cards and such. You vote for my water dam bill, I'll vote for your highway proposal, now that is a favor. Hire my wife to a position where she gets and brings home 6 figures is a bribe. Why is it a bribe, Carey? Because there's MONEY, 6 whole figures income is now coming into the politician's house that would not have been there otherwise. Now Seymour is there any other question you would like to ask Mr. Peabody? *LOL* |

Hello Well Mr Wizard, you have me at a disadvangage. See, I am trying to get right, I am playing my gospel music before I go to church. You have heard about that place people go to in an effort to find a little peace and a new way of thinking? I'll be thinking about you and "might" even pray for you. Lawd knows you could use a little help, Thump. I have not arrived and you have shown signs that you can be moved. So all goodbyes ain't gone. |

"Hire my wife to a position where she gets and brings home 6 figures is a bribe. Why is it a bribe, Carey? Because there's MONEY, 6 whole figures income is now coming into the politician's house that would not have been there otherwise." Excellent point Troy. There is difference between business networking and elected politicians. You are tampering with the faith and confidence of the public (which is at an all time low with politicians) when you travel down the road of greed and personal gain. When graft, fraud, nepotism, hubris, bribes, back door intrigue, disregard for the law and the personal ambition takes precedence over the people who voted for you, well....there is a problem. Bro Carey is still in the learning process. Hopefully, he'll learn one day. |
