My poem should read like this: Still What if I should write you poetry And dedicate my favorite poem to you And you would not read it If I should sing my favorite song to you And you would not listen to me If I should tell you a funny joke And you would not laugh. Still I would give you my love Which means more than my poems Even more than a dedicated song Or a funny riddle or joke I would still give you my love Even though you say… You no longer care.
