Here at Five Fishes, we look for poems or prose bringing the reader into a world; preferably a world of the outdoors or of the mind of an interesting character. We hope that the works we publish will spark some sort of emotion; in a delightful kind of way. We cannot pay for works at this time, but we hope that the joy of sharing your writing will be pay enough. And please — nothing that’s already been published elsewhere. We plan on publishing a total of four poems and one short fiction every other Friday, but if we should fall short of publishable work one Friday, we may skip it until the following week rolls around.
