I look at her and I see me; like the earth just shook and we fell from the same tree. Her eyes like mine, her soul her skin; they mirror my reflection I feel her deep within. So let this union last the earth and stand above its sands. For there's nothing quite like she and I Black Woman and Black Man... I've been gone from here for a good while and since I've been coming to this site in 2005 and becoming an active participant in 2006 I have learned a lot about people, including myself. The people on this board are real. You guys don't always agree but if nothing else you are all yourselves and make a point to be that way. I've been writing my entire life but only published one of many novels written. The point being and the reason that I placed this post here is that there is a rhyme and reason to this life. Expression is the ultimate form of acknowledgment of one's self or to whatever audience is being spoken to. I spent the last year in West africa Away from the American Idols, the BET's, the 30 second spots for prescription drugs and violent crime on the evening news. (although there was definitely some crazy stuff going on in Senegal. I had the opportunity to do for others again in Africa and it gave me an even better appreciation for my people all over the world. I came back from Africa and and found my true Love my Soulmate, the one I should have always been with instead of running around the world for the past 20+ years and I Married her nearly on the spot. She is a Strong Black Woman with a heart of gold and she Loves me with her every being. I was thinking about the chaotic nature of this site while I was gone because it so reminded me of my life. My inner struggles, my questions about humanity and most of all the contrast of my life and mode of thought as compared to those I liken to myself, those I call my people. Every once in a while most of you show an incredible human side that makes me proud to be a part of this site. Some of you might remember the pretty fierce literal fights that make coming here difficult at times. (But y'all know it's like crack) But most of all it's the message that keeps us all in tune with each other, and that's like poetry... you all are like music to my constant beat. Preshiate cha! Stand back and protect your shoes if Abm is around, cuz he's sure to hurl chunks after that emotional display!!!! Otherwise, very well put, indeed. Batmocop, I haven't read alot of your posts yet, so I don't know what to make of you. I do know that everything I've read thus far reminds me of the way I used to write....(I meant that as a complement). One thing I've learned while on these discussion boards is to make my comments as clear as I possibly can because the way you intend something to be recieved doesn't always come across that way when read by someone else. I'm sure you don't have that problem, I was merely passing something on in case it may be able to benefit someone. U never know, right? | ||

I'm a man Lambd, and have nothing to fear... This board is by far one of the most intriguing I've ever been a part of. But a humbling experience is better shared than kept silent. As far as what to make of me? I bring the noise when I have to, there are certain people on this board I will peel the skin off of if confronted by them. ABM doesn't bother me, and never has.
