Chained Melody Now I am afraid to go outside 'Cause it’s raining By his unnamed door I’m still hanging I can’t see the sunshine And so I had to let go I closed the tainted window And I welcomed my friend, darkness Every time you go away I chain the melody of my heart ...And I whisper Every time you go away I chain my heart and hold on to your smile In my secret place—deep inside I make love to my lonesomeness That’s the power of your love!
