In a sense. Yes. I suppose few remember when we started getting our first Black Mayors of Big Cities. We were giddy with joy and anticipation. We did not have eyes. The power structure had run the cities in the ground. They turned them over to Negroes. Then blamed them for the mess. Negroes, infected with the bacillus of self loathing, went for it as much as anybody and turned on their former champions. St. Louis. New York. Chicago. Los Angeles. Is history repeating itself? |

Well, Chrishayden, your self-loathing affliction seems to have kicked in right away what with how you are immediately turning on Obama without giving him a chance. Harold Washington, the black mayor of Chicago, does not belong on your ignoble list. He prevailed over all of his detractors during his first term of office, and was re-elected for a second one. Death was what felled him. |
