If these poll numbers will just hold up and the "Bradley factor" that Yvette made reference to doesn't kick in when white voters have to actually pull the lever to elect a black president... |

I must say after watching both debates, the only word that I can think of to describe them is; underwhelmed. McCain, as bad as he is, was not much worse than Obama. At a time when we need specifics concerning the economy, Obama is still speaking in generallities. He is coming across very weak economically and I don't think that his showing is strong enough to get white folks to abort their supremacy ideals. IMHO |

I continue to be mystified as to why Obama is so solicitious of McCain and why he bypasses so many opportunities to shut him down. I'm disappointed in his one-dimensional performances. Is he afraid that undecided white people might be turned off by an "assertive negro"??? |
