Hello
Kwame Kwame Kwame, again another brotha has fallen at the feet of the forbidden tree ... the fruits of a tree that didn't belong to him. Well, he was climbing in the tree but....
I wonder if 4 months in jail and a 1 million dollar fine was worth all the fun. Make no mistake about it, the boy has been on a ride; Mayor at 31, rock star status complete with personal bodyguards will atest to that. However I've heard it said that who you see going up you will see coming down. He's falling now and hopefully he will realize it's not the end and we all fall down.
Can we really start over? I suppose we can but reality .....his reality is different than most. I believe he's still loved by many in Detroit. Men especially will be forgiven ....heck, he just got busted for a little bump & grind ....I assume many will look at it in that fashion but I personally believe it's bigger than that. |

Oh well, ya play with fire, the chances of getting burned drastically increase. This lesson has been around for a very long time. But obviously Kwame didn't hear about it or he chose to ignore it.......*shrugs*....... |

Yeah Ntfs, he must have been listening to the tapes of John Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe *LOL*. He sure wasn't listening to Mayor Barry's LP *lol*. Burned.....yeah, and penicilian ain't going to ease this pain.

Chris ......really? Ahhh ...tell me how so ...or why? Am having a hard time with that one. That's like saying all male skaters are homosexuals or all black pastors fleece their flocks. All fat women are not an easy lays either (thought I'd throw that in there). |

It's obvious "it happens" ....heck, there's a word for it .....but to say one segment of our population is more proned to do it than another is where I am having a probelm. There's weak individuals everywhere ....so if I read you correctly you are saying all politicians are weak ....and again, moreso than other professions **shrug**
Now if you said men that frequent Gentlemen Clubs buy more sex than those that do not ...then I'd ride ... not that I necessary believe that but at least we are dealing with the behavior rather than his profession.
Heck ...lets see ...all writers are lonely jerks that live in a word ...world of make believe ...of course that crazy but it's not the job it's the person that commits the act. |

Sigh.....You don't get it do you Carey? It is about behavior and not the profession. The point was the behavior is not exempt from the profession. And it does happen frequently among politicians. What? you don't read or listen to the news? There are ongoing gory stories about bribes, adultery, homosexual scandals, embezzlement, illegal drug usage, abuse of power, fraud, prostitution, etc, involving politicians. But you course, you were not aware of this...... |

The premise of my complaint with your post was that you implied that it happens more in "THAT" profession than in others ...Back at ya --- don't you read, were you not aware of this...

I have no idea what that means. Perhaps you can clarify it for me. But for the record, I was raised in a mostly white neighborhood where the parents were so racist, their kids were not allowed to play with me. They were not having it. I have a sustained memory of being called “niggers, black apes and go back to Africa” by white adults and their children. So I know what white racism is first hand. But again, I have no idea what you mean by;

Yeah Ntsf, am done ...been done. Look, I jack with you because you get involved. I mean, sometimes when I stop by the board ...I look and see who I can mess with and lately it's been you *lol* ...that's what I do.
