No surprise here. Republicans are often victims of their own hypocritical moralizing and double standards. And for the record, it's already documented that their sex abstinence and zero tolerance for sex education and pregnancy prevention, is a failure. Texas (Bush’s home state) has one of the highest rates of pregnancy among teenagers 15-19 (pregnancies per thousand) and rates of live births among teenagers 15-19 (births per thousand). The irony is I saw some hard line Republican pro-lifers (from Texas) yesterday bragging about the good things Bush as done and the fact that they do have a sex abstinence vice sex education and pregnancy prevention policy. YET THEY RANK AT THE TOP OF THE LIST (TOP FIVE STATES) ALONG WITH MISSISSIPPI, BOTH RED STATES WITH SEX ABSTINENCE POLICES FOR HIGH SCHOOL. WTF??!! |

These Abstinence programs are just one of many schemes Bush & Co has crafted to steal and direct money from the Federal and State treasuries to their cronies by playing on the prejudices, ignorance and foolish religiousity of many (mostly WHITE) Americans. |

This is very true. As I said before, these smiley face morons with their straw cowboy hats and red sport shirts, were grinning and bragging about the successes and accomplishments(?) of George W. Bush as a governor and president. They were hard line pro-lifers and uncompromising abstinence only disciples. They swaggered with a self intoxicating arrogance even though their state has one of the highest rates of teen pregnancies in the nation. How ironic. And obviously Sarah Palin's abstinence beliefs are not shared by her daughter. End of subject...... |
