If you’re a sports fan and/or New Yorker, you probably already know that Baseball star Alex Rodrieguez’s wife Cynthia is divorcing on the grounds that he’s cheated on her a lot (WOW! Imagine the world’s best and highest paid baseball player getting some on the side. Whowouldathunkit?) and that he "abandoned" her and their 2 infant children. They have a prenup though, of course, she and her attorney are going to try to tear that sucker up. Even though she and A-Rod have only been married 6 years and his stardom took off long BEFORE they got together, I don’t really care how much Cynthia clears from the divorce. But something she said made me laugh out loud: "I am going to seek child support and alimony that will provide my children 'the lavish lifestyle' to which they have grown accustomed to." Now, their kids are ages 3 and a NEWBORN: WTF kinda lifestyle have those children LIVED LONG ENUFF to grow accustomed TO? Btw: You might have heard or read that MADONNA is alleged to be cause of the Rodriguez’ marital woes. God I HOPE that’s not the case. I mean, laying wood to the Madonna circa 1988 might have been worth losing a marriage over. But Madonna of the current vintage is just TOO downright creepy and dried out looking to be worth the trouble. |

Strange words coming from somebody who thinks children born in wedlock should be well provided for. A-Rod might find Madonna and her agile athleticism very appealing. He might actually be of the notion that woman like wine, grow better with age. Young hotties might bore him because he's been there, done that. He might even be intrigued with the idea of her introducing him to the arcane wisdom of the Kaballah. |

Strange words coming from somebody who thinks children born in wedlock should be well provided for. (Post this again, dammit! Make ABaMa lick up his doctrine!) Nope. It was never about the children. It was about what unwed skanks, hoes, and skeezers don't deserve. The children are merely collateral damage. |

Who the hell said A-Rod's kids shouldn't be well provided for? Not me. But A-Rod's kids are ages 3 and newborn. WTF kinda "lavish lifestyle" is somebody who only current objectives in life are to sleep, cry, suckle a bottle/nipple and then crap her-his diaper/pamper "accustomed to" receiving? |

In the eyes of A-Rods wife, it's not about what a child is "accustomed" to receiving, it's about what being born in wedlock "entitles" him to receive - something you apparently subscribe to. |

If he's 'right', because he's wealthy so are his children. They shouldn't want for anything. In regards to his soon-to-be ex, I'm sure the alimony alloted in the pre-up is somewhat decent, so I think she should shut her pie-hole, get some counseling and move on. He's ugly anyway. |

If he's 'right', because he's wealthy so are his children. They shouldn't want for anything. Yep. And the only reason that the child support checks will be written in her name is because she will be their primary custodian. If he goes for partial or full custody (which it doesn't seem that he is), and gets it, then the amount paid to her will decrease accordingly. |

"WTF kinda "lavish lifestyle" is somebody who only current objectives in life are to sleep, cry, suckle a bottle/nipple and then crap her-his diaper/pamper "accustomed to" receiving?" Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! That's funny. But it is true. Her comment was stupid and ridiculous. Although I feel she is entitled to child support for her children, like bro ABM said, What kind of lifestyle are babies and three year olds accustomed to? Limos? Trips to Martha's Vineyards? Caviar with prime cut steak, lobster and champagne every day? Exclusive private schools with vacations in Europe?" Yeah, her silly comments made me laugh also. |

Ferociouskitty: "Nope. It was never about the children. It was about what unwed skanks, hoes, and skeezers don't deserve. The children are merely collateral damage." Hey. Don't blame me. Blame their gotdayam irresponsible babymammies/pappies. Moonsigns, Who said or implied the child should not benefit from their father's wealth? Of course they should live well. But, again, my question is WTF kind of "LAVISH lifestyle" could foks who ain't even potty trained live? Ntfs, She's got me wondering just how 'FLY' are those babies living. Do they exclusively wear custom-made Gucci diapers and and Prada booties? Is their baby formula personally cooked and prepared by famed Chef Wolfgang Puck? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! We ALL know she's just legally pimpin' those kids to try slick more dough out of A-Rod than she probably deserves to get. |
