It's been interesting, chrishayden, to watch your regression from a angry black man to a fawning lackey. Your militancy has apparently been defused by all of the white talkin heads and bloggers who have patted Barak on the head and told him he's a good boy, as you stand by waggin your tail because you've been thrown a bone.
These white people whose approval you secretly crave are the perfect antidote to people like Stanley Crouch and Bill Cosby who say things you want left unsaid because they might make Blacks look bad in the eyes of white folks. Heaven forbid. Baraka Obama is the answer to your dream. I understand, boobie. I just hope the dream doesn't turn into a nightmare.  |

(It ought to be obvious I'm not a militant, since I'm not squatting in a cave on the Pakistani border with Osama making "Death to America" videos.
I have a football mentality--some times you go right, some times you go left, some times you go up the middle.
It is obvious that you need to know me. To spend time at my feet, listening to my wisdom and praising me for my brilliance.
It can be arranged--for a price.

(There are white folks whose approval I would crave. It probably surprises you. People like John Brown. The Berrigan Brothers. Frank Zappa. Mother Jones. Amy Goodman. Them kind of folks.
I am not a racist. In my universe, it is about wrong and right, not black and white.
Contemplate all that on the tree of woe.
I dislike Stanley Crouch because he is a mediocrity. Bill Cosby WAS a great comedian. he should stick to that .
Baraka Obama is the answer to your dream. I understand, boobie. I just hope the dream doesn't turn into a nightmare

Well, crissy, your paean of praise to yourself did nothing to improve my "boring" life. In fact my life wasn't boring until I started plowing though your rationale for being the egocentric jerk that you are. For somebody who makes snap judgments about everybody else, who jumps to conclusions at the drop of a hat, your copping a plea about me not really knowing the true you just makes me yawn again. And speaking of "useless", trying to give you the benefit of the doubt is something this word could apply to.  |
