If Obama can't take the heat, then he doesn't belong in the kitchen. Ya gotta take the good with the bad, not to mention how we Blacks had a field day ridiculing and lambasting Dubya. Or would Hillary escape the slings and arrows of sexism and just plain hate were she elected. ditto for McCain when it comes to ageism. I continue to marvel at how Obama woshippers think he should be treated special. |

"Ya gotta take the good with the bad, not to mention how we Blacks had a field day ridiculing and lambasting Dubya." There is absolutely no comparison to Bush. The criticism and lambasting Bush receives is well deserved. He cannot be intelligently defended. Bush has been the most reckless, obnoxiously arrogant, ignorant and destructive president in US history. Obama has not created such an undeniable legacy......yet "Or would Hillary escape the slings and arrows of sexism and just plain hate were she elected." No doubt. Hillary haters will dog her no matter what she does. It's irrelevant. They will attack her for just breathing. Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris, Bill O'Reilly, Bernie Goldberg, Rush Limbaugh and Robert Novak will see to that. Trust me..... "ditto for McCain when it comes to ageism." Yeah, but being an old guy in itself does not attract as much vitriol and criticism (whether warranted or not) as Hillary does. Sure, they'll make jokes about McCain’s age (like Bill Maher does) but that can only go so far. But just being Hillary Clinton in itself will fuel the fires of her detractors. And to be honest, I'm not a Hillaryite, but I do know for a fact she receives constant (and at times excessive -IMO) negative stories and commentary. I have noticed this for years. As far as Obama is concerned, if you want to challenge or question his experience, history as a senator or his proposed polices and programs -fine. That's fair. People have a compelling need and right to know your real history and platform as a politician. But the open and sneaky race card comments are unjustifiable, unnecessary, counterproductive and racist. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE MAN FOR HIS IDEAS OR HIS POLITICAL HISOTRY -FINE! BUT MAKING HIS SKIN COLOR AN ISSUE IN THE MOST SUGGESTIVE AND MENDACIOUS MANNER, IS BULLSHIT!

Obama can take the heat. It's just the dickheads that don't want him to succeed. |

Well, NTFS, the last paragraph of your post veers from the issue I was speaking to. I still maintain that anybody who gets in office will be ridiculed and attacked, for whatever reason. And if, as president, Obama slips up, and he will, because he's not perfect, he's going to take low-blows from his detractors. Whether the attacks will be attributed to his being a black man remains to be seen. But being raked over the coals comes with the territory of being POTUS. I, myself, am guilty of being prejudiced because my favorte way of referring to McCain is call him "an inept old white man whose claims to being a hero are suspect". Sooo, I will dismiss the blather of Limbaugh and Anne Colter and all the others of their ilk, because they are people who preach to their choirs. |

Judging from your silly irrelevant response, chrushayden, it's obvious your brain is having the kind of melt down one expects from a black wimp who can't take the heat of a valid contention. |
