Sick of Cynique and her omnipresence on the board, here, there, everywhere, responding to every post???
Well, it's "0" degrees here in Chicago with a wind chill factor of 25 below. I am in the throes of cabin fever, marooned on a polar island with more snow on the way. But the board is a fireplace and HRC is fuel for the flames. And Barak needs no defenders. His followers are marching in montonous lockstep like a gestapo army, glazed eyes straight ahead, focused on change. Incidentally an old Jewish woman made the observation that Obama reminded her of Hitler because of the way he is able to mesmerize a crowd and rivet them with buzz words... She said it. Of course, Blacks think Obama's the next best thing to the eloquent MLK.

I don’t get the MLK comparison. MLK seemed older & preachier, more spiritual and divine while Obama has rhythm and swagger like Malcolm. I've been saying he's like Malcolm from the beginning. But Hitler, hey, he got 'em on cloud nine...that Jewish lady might be onto something.

...He's like Malcolm in terms of style, not substance!

Well, maybe. To me, Malcolm was a staccato speaker, but the Obama's speech pattern is more reminiscent of MLK who was a dynamic orator. And, actually, Martin Luther King was younger than Obama when he was assassinated at age 39.
Or would I describe Malcolm has having swagger. He was intense not casual, and his demeanor was erect and proud. BTW, Malcolm was also just 39 when he was killed.

Swagger is also a state of mind. It can also be detected in the way someone speaks. You can be proud and have swagger. And it could also be intense. Anyway MLK seemed older like I said. Obama tho is like most young educated brothas. He's only new to America.

Don't go so crazy you gnaw off an arm or a leg or something.
