Hillary could “possibly” represent the face of America (and that’s a stretch), but Barack Obama could “definitely” represent the face of the world. In a dynamic and globalized economy, the U.S. needs to be viewed not as a bloated stagnant cocoon, but as a resilient and flexible agent of change.
Hillary and her political buffoons, laggards and cronies including Magic Johnson, Maxine Waters, Ron Dellums, Andrew Young and the like are desperately trying to hang on to the last vestiges of their own historical irrelevance. What they may fear even more is that Barack Obama represents a new kind of America and won't be beholden to their beckon call.
Only time will tell whether or not America can see past its own pretentiousness and grasp the bigger picture of a seamlessly integrated vehicle of hope, prosperity, accomplishment and leadership. The clock is ticking. |
