...I hope he doesn't take any of this personally. He didn't deserve what they did to him or his reputation with the Black community. It was ugly and dirty and way out of line. But hey that’s politics, Chicago style.

This is why Dems lose elections. They always want to make nice.

The Republicans are playing hardball politics right now against John McCain but no one is crying about it.

"This is why Dems lose elections. They always wan to play nice."

Agreed, but this wasn't nice. It didn't matter WHAT Bill Clinton said out his mouth, they turned it into something racist. And the media either sat by and watched or helped the Obama campaign distort everything he said, mostly the latter. That was not nice at all. The media hate the Clintons and they'd do ANYTHING to get at them. But this was ugly. Considering who Bill is and what he's done, it was sad.

Yeah. It was the Obama campaign that went to SC after he won Iowa and starting telling black folks how he could win white votes. They interjected the race card, and then started whining...

Bill Clinton is a veteran of these political wars, even from fellow Democrats.

It will be interesting to see what happens next. Hillary is calling for the Dems to release the delegates in Florida and Michigan. She is way ahead in the delegate count, but if she gets those, she'll really be in good shape...

"Yeah. It was the Obama campaign that went to SC after he won Iowa and starting telling black folks how he could win white votes. They interjected the race card, and then started whining... Bill Clinton is a veteran of these political wars, even from fellow Democrats."

They interjected race the night he won Iowa. They started saying how terrible it would be if someone (read: the Clintons) were to stop "a Black man from making history". That was their exact words. And it was their way of saying that any competition from the Clintons amounted to The White Man stopping The Black Man from getting ahead. That's "playing the race card" right there. Then they played it again right before S.C.

...But you're right, Bill Clinton's a pro…ain't gonna be no whining.

And as for Bill Clinton helping his wife, hell, Barack has the entire media behind him. Bill Clinton was trying to even things out. And he got slammed for that too, what a travesty.

I don't think Bill and Hillary are racists. Just because they are ruthless in their pursuit of power doesn't make them blatant bigots. Black supporters of Obama are the ones who are injecting race into this campaign because they are looking for things to misinterpret, knowing this is a sure-fire way to bring down Hillary. And it's working. But, in the process, they are creating rifts that will never heal, much to the delight of the Republicans.

Bill Bennett could hardly hide his joy last night - dude almost shitted his pants. It was so obvious, he had to acknowledge it himself. He was like, excuse me y’all I just shitted my pants.

How do you "inject" race into an arena where a black man is running for president. Race ain't the elephant in the room, it's the dinosaur!

As an Obama supporter, you put a spin on everything the opposition says so that you can take race one step further and call it "racism." It's not a dinosaur. It's a forked-tongued snake, ready to spew its venom.

What makes it easy for me to respect Obama is that I sense he is uncomfortable with how his fans are trying to paint his rivals as racists and Blacks who support them as "negro sell-outs". He's intelligent enough to know that it's not that simple and that a campaign with those kind of undertones will run into trouble down the line.

``There are not two people who are better at street fighting politics than Bill and Hillary Clinton,'' Mike Huckabee said on ``Fox News Sunday.''

``Don't underestimate the scrappiness with which they'll approach this race,'' he said. ``Tactics will change, but the goal will never, ever fade, and that is win, whatever it takes to do it.''

Chris Mathews said something similar on HARDBALL. "The Clintons win first, apologize later." Whatta couple. LOL.
