I find it curious that the many scandals of the Clintons over the years is being ignored. From woman to woman, people going to jail over whitewater and so forth.

Obama is smart enough to not go down that road, but I'm sure he can find a distant muck raker to tie them up. Those two could get so tied down by their past shady dealings that it's amazing how all of that history is being conviently ignored.

A black candidate with those skeletons in the closet would not made it past go. Bill Clinton was brought up for impeachment and is throwing mud at Obama. "I did not have sex with that woman." "That depends on what the definition of is is."

Just trust us.

People are already familiar with Clinton's history as a womanizer and with Hillary's lust for power. Maybe they are more impressed with how when Bubba left office the budget was balanced, and with Hillary's aplomb as a candidate.

Obama has a history of drug addiction and drug dealing and of being a Muslim but this didn't inhibit his running for president. Or have these things torpedoed his campaign.

Since "change" is a big issue in this election, maybe what people want to change is the focus on the personal lives of candidates, and an end to all the casting of stones.

Most voters just want gas prices to go down, and for America to get out of Iraq, and for their kids to get a decent education, and for the health care system to be cured, and for the mortgage mess to be fixed and for the recession to be stemmed.

The cyber-space vocal minority is who is aflame with all of the scandals.

Mud-slinging doesn't address the issues or solve the problems facing America. IMO.

People are tired of so-called Clinton Scandals. They are among the most widely publicized (non) events in United States history...which is the Clinton's point. They've been through it. Now if the softy momma boy, matri-cultural Black community would let this sissy cut his teeth, maybe--just maybe--he'd have a chance to win. Nobody's gonna just hand him the nomination. No. Not till he proves that he can take a lot of HEAT. I mean let's not forget, the Clinton "Scandals" made history due to the cruel and unrelenting inexorableness of the REPUBLICANS.

Tonya --

Today, he actually thanked the Clinton's indirectly for preparing him for when "he" has to go up against the Republican nominee.

Hmmmm...

Hen81, this is so true. The media like so many in our black political leadership is beholden to the Clintons.

However people recohgnize this and this is the reason for Obama's sucess thus far.

Rangel's endorsement of Hillary does automatically mean Black folks will follw his endorsement. If you ask me I believe when Rangel gets into the voting booth himself he will pull the lever for Barack.

Cynique "Obama has a history of drug addiction and drug dealing and of being a Muslim but this didn't inhibit his running for president. Or have these things torpedoed his campaign." You forgot to apply the smiley face on this post...

The media, which is overwhelmingly liberal, wants Hillary Clinton to be president.

Their power is limited since we can SEE what they are doing.
