Did anybody see this clip of this fool calling Obama "the half white boy"? How the hell he gonna say "Obama got a white mama" and then say it's not racist. This wack is confused. Obama's ability to lead the country has nothing to do with how light or dark he is. And this even further prooves my point that I made in another recent thread about blacks not voting for Obama. According to this dumbass, if Obama had a criminal record, he'd have more support from the black community. Now that's just dumb. This is what the black community doesn't need right now. How he gone make fun of Obama's heritage and he looks like he's got something mixed up in his family tree.-And's how's he going to be a man of the cloth while spreading racist propaganda?

It's not Obama's job to unite black people. It's his job to appeal to all voters. Black voters do have a choice, you know. They can vote for whomever they feel will make a good president. |

Cynique, I agree partially. Uniting black people isn't a written rule in the black politician's or public figure's handbook, but some jobs are aquired by default. If you're a black political or public figure you have to take the job in my opinion. He will have to pull together the hood all the way up to the black elite no matter how much white voter support he gets.
Yes they can vote for whomever they want but isn't winning people over the name of the game? He's got to try twice as hard unlike HRC to win the support of his own people. But then again there are other factors to that people will take into consideration.
Again, all I'm saying is that he has a huge task on his hand. |

Yes, Satina, Obama has a huge task ahead of him because so many dynamics come into play. But he has said he doesn't want to be a black president, he wants to be a good president. Since he can't be everything to everybody, he is pretty much dependent on making himself viable enough for Blacks to voluntarily support him. This is also Hillary's dilemma when it comes to women. It's a very complicated scenario and when the curtain goes down in the voting booth, the back stage drama will begin. How will it all end? Who knows?  |

The kind of problems that Obama is getting ready to endure from his own people publicly is just a magnification of what blacks that have chosen a different life direction have endured from their friends and family all of their lives.
Get an education, work in the majority white business world or even just move to the suburbs. The kind of garbage that was on that video comes your way from friends and family. Now this will be on a national stage. If anything, this pastor is telling black people to get arrested, get a criminal record and then try to lead. When did Bill and Hillary go to jail? I forgot, other people went to jail for them like Susan McDougal over Whitewater.

In politics Blackness don't mean shit to me if it doesn't come with some opportunities that I can't get from other qualified candidates. This is business, nothing personal. My Black vote ain't for free. And opportunities aren't just falling off trees.
