It's a job that your resume would certainly qualify you for, chrishayden, whether you were bribed to it or just wanted to vent your hate. |

Because the Clintons know nothing about you, chrishayden. Contrary to what you believe, you are not well known or outstanding. |

(I think it summarizes the whole damn thing, unfortunately.) Hey Hillary, iron my shirt will ya? By staff writers January 08, 2008 06:21pm US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton's run in the all important primary state of New Hampshire has turned from bad to worse with rival Barack Obama's early win in first ballot results. Mrs Clinton's first faced screaming male protesters telling her to "iron my shirt" at a rally in the state. Senator Clinton, running to become the US's first female president, laughed off the protest suggesting a woman's place was doing laundry and not running the country. "Ah, the remnants of sexism - alive and well," Senator Clinton said to applause, the Associated Press reported. "As I think has been abundantly demonstrated, I am also running to break through the highest and hardest glass ceiling." The two men were removed from the auditorium after raising a pair of signs that said, "Iron my shirt!" They also shouted the slogan. Obama's early win Mr Obama's early win in the tiny hamlet of Dixville Notch will be a double blow to Mrs Clinton. Mr Obama won seven of the 10 votes cast for Democrats, while Senator John McCain won the Republican balloting. Ballots by all 17 registered voters were cast and counted just after midnight in the remote White Mountains town that takes advantage of a state law allowing communities to close polls once voting is over and announce the results. Other than those for MrObama, of Illinois, former North Carolina senator John Edwards got two votes and New Mexico Governor Bill Richards received one. Mrs Clinton received none. Among the seven votes cast for Republicans, Arizona Senator John McCain won four, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney received two, and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani won one vote. The ballots in Dixville Notch and nearby Harts Location represent the first direct voting in New Hampshire's primary, the next battleground in the state-by-state process of choosing Republican and Democratic candidates for November's election to replace President George W. Bush. With Reuters http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23022499-401,00.html?from=mostpop |
