Zane, CONGRATS!
Troy, ENJOY! (just realized Troy rhymes with enjoy  ), but HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET. I was pick-pocket in that very theatre, first and only time in my life I'd ever been pick-pocket. Me and a couple buddies went there to see Get Rich or Die Tryin'. I agreed to pay for tix, while my buddies paid for nachos, drinks, and goodies. After I bought the tix, like an idiot, I put my wallet in my trenchcoat pocket rather than putting it back in my pocketbook.
I lost only 82 bucks, but it was a designer wallet plus I had to cancel credit cards, debit cards, and replace my driver's license. So I haven't stepped foot inside that theatre since. Pity, too; it's a well-kept and pretty theatre, (even the ladies room was very tidy), conveniently located in midtown, and Macy's is right down the block.
After the sneak preview, though, you and Zane MUST go to Tir Na Nog - also right down the block (33rd & 8th) - the BEST Irish pub/restaurant in the city, imo. Say hello to Bernie for me. He's one of the bartenders - charming and funny as hell and he makes a mean Margarita! |

They couldn't give me a blunt and a bottle of wine to be up in there. Pick-pocketed huh ...they need to go up in there and make everybody get butt naked and take pictures. What ...What Zane gets a pass? ...how does this sort of "entertainment" play into the moral fiber of our youth and general "coonery" (thanks Ntsf) of our culture ...huh ...OOOHHH ...that's "good" reading ...lets see ...great star lineup ...drippy, Brown Sugar, Pussy, Goodie and Woodie ...everybody in there needs to be pimped slapped after they buy their ticket ...ain't that a b**th ...and some are crying about the flood of crime fiction novels ...YEA! ...Zane is bringing it ...Bullshit downtown ...I'd rather pay for a bag of frog spit! ...Now THAT is some Ni**er type shit ...Congrats ZANE ...you Big Pimpin'
