Jeez Louise, Man! Toni Cade? Paule Marshall? Faulkner? Somebody might get the impression you live in Indiana or someplace. Don't you have any new, hip, radical, hot young cutting edge writers you ran across? |

Hello, Chris: Ha ha. To answer your question, NO! If you know of any please let me know. It seem we had quite a few a couple of years ago, now, nothing. You know me, I will start wandering. Right now, until I run across some new works by new voices, I'm looking elsewhere to see what I can see. Right now, I'm looking at the black French writers. It looks promising. |

Hello, Chris: I guess now would be the perfect time to tell you...*exhaling*...I also got my eye on Proust's Rememberance of Things Past, Virgil's The Aeneid, and Ovid's Metamorphoses. I'm striving to be Addison DeWitt. And you know that I don't mind, actually, love, going back in the past. |

He's too young a man to be wallowing in dead people and yellowed manuscripts. |

I also got my eye on Proust's Rememberance of Things Past, Virgil's The Aeneid, and Ovid's Metamorphoses. (You should have done those already. If you will do some research, you will find that all of those writers championed the literature of their own era in addition to the classics. Don't get labled a moldy fig) |
