Hello All, Way back in the day, when AALBC.com was still young, there was a list from a college prep book for black students that contained a list of the books that all incoming freshmen should have read when they enter college. Due to the time of the year, and since its been a while, I thought it would be good to revisit that list. Strangely enough, I can not find it anywhere. Tell me, what books do you all think should make up the list. |

I think black college students should also learn more about becoming entrepenuers. Most colleges only prepare you for working for someone else. Books that teach you what to expect when starting your own business could be helpful. Two I can think of are: The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It by Michael E. Gerber and "Psychologically Unemployable" by Jeffery Combs. |
