I just ordered your book Rooftop Diva and looking forward to reading it. I read about our book on the NOLA craigslist as I was doing some research for my graduate studies. Currently I am writing a research paper on the healing effects of the 2006 Mardi Gras for a class in myth and ritual theories. I ordered Rooftop Diva because it looks interesting not as part of my research, but if there is something in the book that you feel addresses the healing nature of the 2006 Mardi Gras please net me know. Also, I would be very interested in your perspective if you are willing to share.
